It really don't make the sense in modern marriage because, if a woman is expected to work, prove, nature and also take care of a fully grown man older than her, then I believe it is unfair to her. Unless a man is wealthy and able and not so available in the house due to trips and meetings, where now the wife is present to take care of his property, manage maids and others servants and take care of the children in the man's absence and to take care of the man when around. I don't see any other sense in burdening women. An Ideal marriage is where there is a wife who is working and maids in the house for house work and a gardener for compound. The lady doesn't need to wash clothes, tidy the house and take care of the compound while still working and contributing money for the household. If the woman is a housewife, then she does all this work and is entitled to some money as an allowance to take care of herself, she has no other responsibility than to take care of the house, manage husbands assets and take care of her husband. It is confusing everywhere. Women are taking care of men financially and men foolishly and shamelessly even living in women's houses and properties.
