If you’re pregnant and you’ve started thinking, “I need to buy EVERYTHING before the baby comes!” 😭
Please take a breath. 😂❤️
You don’t have to rush your baby shopping.
Here are 5 reasons why:
1️⃣ You may buy things you won’t actually need.
Sometimes excitement makes us buy things because they look cute or because someone said every new mum needs them.
2️⃣ Your baby may outgrow some things very quickly.
Especially clothes, shoes, socks and some newborn-sized items. So buying too many at once may leave you with things your baby barely used.
3️⃣ You may discover better options later.
As you learn more about your baby and your own routine, you may realise what you actually need more of and what you don’t need at all.
4️⃣ You don’t have to buy everything in one shopping trip.
Start with the important essentials. You can gradually add other things as your delivery date gets closer.
5️⃣ Your baby doesn’t need a perfect-looking nursery to be well cared for. ❤️
Please don’t let social media make you feel like you have failed because your baby’s items don’t look like someone else’s.
Prepare with wisdom, not pressure. 🥰
And if you’re shopping for your first baby, please remember:
You are preparing for a baby, not preparing for a photoshoot. 😂❤️
Now let me ask the experienced mums:
What is ONE baby item you bought too early or bought too much of that you later realised you didn’t really need?
