Many people can't relate the pain Veekee felt before calling out this guy. Have you ever experienced someone taking the Glory of what you labour so hard for? I have been there.
When I was in secondary, we wanted to send off four corp members in my school. I saved some money to buy a gift for one of them cos he was so nice to me. I bought him a three set of beautiful glass cup. And I told my mum to give me three new breakable plates she kept in her store for the other three. I kept the gift with my friend and followed my group members out to get some gifts for our group leader.
Before our arrival, the send off party has started, And they were already calling people who have gift to come present it. When we arrived they called us out to come present gift to the corpers.
I asked my friend to give me the gift I kept with her, she said she already presented it. I have not even wrapped the gift, I have not written my name on it and you presented it and took pictures as if you were the one that bought the gift. I felt really sad. I wanted to make him proud. I wanted him to know that I value all his labour of love on me.
I presented the other corpers the gift I brought for them and left my best corper standing without presenting him any gift even though I bought the best gift for him. My friend has taken the glory of what I laboured hard to get. There's no way I could publicly announce the reason why I didn't present my best corper any gift. When people look back at old pictures they would see my friend presenting the gift I bought with my savings without acknowledging me.
That is what it means to do a documentary on someone designs you recreated without acknowledging the original creator.
People will say but you too used to recreate designs. Yes, we have recreated so many designs that we don't know the original creator, if we know them, we will acknowledge them. But making a documentary on it is a way to far.
Veekee is not saying don't recreate my design but she's saying don't make it look as if you are the original creator.
Let me ask, as good as he is, why hasn't he recreated any Tubo's designs? Y'all know why.
