Simple and Delicious Yam Porridge
Nothing beats a warm pot of homemade yam porridge! Soft chunks of yam cooked in a rich tomato and pepper sauce with palm oil, onions, crayfish, seasoning, and a touch of spinach.
Ingredients:
• Yam
• Palm oil
• Tomatoes, pepper, and onions
• Crayfish
• Seasoning cubes and salt
• Spinach or ugu leaves
Method:
Peel and cut the yam into cubes. Blend the tomatoes, pepper, and onions. Add everything to a pot with water, palm oil, crayfish, seasoning, and salt. Cook until the yam is soft and the sauce is thick. Stir in the spinach and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
