A reminder of where I’ve been, how far I’ve come, and where I’m going.
About a year ago, I had the opportunity to train at Prudential Fashion Academy, and it became an important part of my journey as a fashion designer.
The training came with a lot of learning, practice, hard work, corrections, challenges, and growth. I went in with existing skills, but I came out better, more confident, more knowledgeable, and even more passionate about creating beautiful outfits.
One of the highlights of that experience was receiving an award for the best design during our final project. 🏆
I may not have shared this moment here when it happened, but looking back now, I realise that it represents more than an award to me. It reminds me of the work I have put into becoming better at what I do.
And the work did not stop there.
Since leaving the academy, I have continued to learn, create, practise, improve, and build Jane’O one design at a time.
My heart is especially drawn to bridal fashion, creating pieces that make a bride feel beautiful, confident, elegant, and truly special on one of the most memorable days of her life.
Every outfit.
Every fitting.
Every correction.
Every new idea.
Every finished piece.
They are all part of the journey.
So today, I am celebrating this award with gratitude, not only because I won it, but because of what it represents: growth, dedication, consistency and the courage to keep becoming better. Special thanks to Prudent Gabriel Okopi P F A 👩🎓 (Est. 2020) for the life changing opportunity.
To every bride who finds my page, I want you to know that your dream outfit matters to me. My goal is to create something that feels beautifully and uniquely YOU.
I am proud of how far Jane’O has come, but I am even more excited about where we are going.
