Yesterday my wife told me, "Udodi, you are too stressed, go to a hotel and cool off." I shrugged it off. Normal me.

It was when I got to this hotel I realised that I truly needed that time off. I told her let me stay at home and rest, she said if i stay at home, the kids will still disturb you ooo.

As a married man or woman, sometimes just take two or three days off, lodge in a hotel. Trust me, you will come out different.

Even you as a woman, leave your kids with Oga sometimes and stay two days off and just rest. I will tell you for sure the experience will leave you different.

We hustle too much and barely have time for yourself to think.

As a married man or woman who is a business owner with kids, have you ever taken a break I mean even if just two days? Say the truth, no one will beat you.

What importance is Okada to Ibusa?

The plight of okada riders in Ibusa is stark, and it raises questions as to why the harsh treatment these riders receive from some young individuals and some police officers purportedly to facilitate their work, is met with widespread indifference.

I wish to ask additionally, are Okada riders banned in Ibusa?
If okada riders are to be prohibited, shouldn't the measure be applied wholesale rather than allowing some to misuse it at the expense of hardworking okada riders in Ibusa

Yesterday, during the Eke market, I personally witnessed a uniformed individual associated with the police officers aggressively handling an okada rider, resulting in the rider falling and a passenger getting injured. My investigation revealed that the uniformed individual would obstruct the okada riders while the police officers would later arrive to make arrests.

In light of the difficulties everyone is experiencing, imposing harsh conditions on okada riders with the aim of reducing crime may be counterproductive, as it could drive them to engage in self-help through crime, thereby undermining community peace.

In my opinion, if a prohibition on okada riders is to be implemented, it should be enforced uniformly rather than placing undue hardship on these riders. Given that I have witnessed certain politicians in ibusa distribute okadas as a means of empowerment.

It is illogical to empower these individuals with the same okada and then make their journey laborious.
