I had never sewn a wedding dress b4
So when the opportunity came, it was a mixture of excitement and anxiety. The weight of the moment was real — this wasn’t just another outfit; it was a bridal piece. But I stepped into it, trusting the process and the growth behind me.
Then the date arrived.
Our trip to Jos was smooth — the Lord had gone before us, and everything aligned beautifully. The wedding itself was just as seamless.
Watching my friend say “Yes, I do” to her husband, wearing the dress we carefully curated, was pure joy. In that moment, flashes of the entire journey ran through my mind — sourcing the fabric, drafting the pattern, the long sewing hours, fittings, adjustments… every detail.
Every stretch, correction, and late finish.
It all became worth it when she stood there — radiant, confident, and beautiful.
She made a stunning bride.
And it was truly a beautiful ceremony.

FAITHO BABA 🤣🤣🤣🤣
While I was still undergoing training, my friend decided it was time to leave the singles’ table 😊
Meeting Faith was, without exaggeration, God’s divine orchestration. The way she has loved me, supported me, and patiently put up with me over time has been nothing short of grace in human form.
She has been one of the most consistent friends in my life, and when she was preparing to marry her purpose partner, she did something that stretched my faith — she trusted our growing hands to sew her dresses.
At that time, I was still learning. Our knowledge was evolving. Our skills were sharpening. Yet she believed we could deliver something meaningful for one of the most important seasons of her life,her confidence in us never wavered.
Graciously, my boss granted me a few weeks off so I could fully support her during the wedding preparations. Faith wanted something simple — elegant, modest, and refined.
So we worked.
We drafted, adjusted, refined and simplicity blossomed into something truly beautiful.
Looking back now, I realize that sometimes God sends people who believe in your capacity before you fully step into it yourself.
And today, as she enjoys her marriage, I smile knowing we were part of that story.
