FRIENDS AND FAMILY BE WARNED

Monday this week, close to my office i saw a lady who was running a business crying because she just discovered that her younger brother selling with her has been secretly drinking the soft drinks she is selling and hiding the containers somewhere inside the store.

The boy has drank several bottles of Bobo, coke, 7up, canned and bottle malt etc. This guy has been eating his sister's profit for many days, months or years without the sister's knowledge.

She must have been complaining that this business is not profitable, or business is not the real thing not knowing that is a family member that's responsible.

Many of businesses failure in Africa as a result of family or friends issue. Let me explain further. I remembered when my wife use to sell recharge card, i will collect and collect card hoping to pay later but will not want to pay until i decided never to let that happen again.

A friend of mine "rekeyed" his wife's business because of borrowing and not paying, many of my money that is outside today is in the hands of my friends, more than #100,000 today in the hands of friends and they are not paying me back because of friendship.

This is wrong and we must stop that whether it is not intentional or it's intentional we has family and friends must let our family and friends business succeed and be profitable. If you love success and profitability, they do also and remember:

FROM COMMODITY TRADER TO REFINERY OWNER.

Greetings everyone and how is your day going. I was in the bus going to work this morning and i was meditating about my business and how to take it to the next level when the story of DANGOTE came into my mind.

See i have a desire to establish one of Africa's biggest non banking financial institution helping and teaching the average man to become financially free. But you see i must start from somewhere and that is while the story of DANGOTE came into my mind.

DANGOTE started his journey to becoming Africa's richest man by selling commodities he imported after borrowing money from from his uncle sanusi Dantata. He sold those commodities and paid back the loan he borrowed from his uncle within three months.

After about twenty years, he built a manufacturing company that manufactures what he use to import went ahead and built a cement company and now he is building a refinery.

Most of us want to start life from building refineries. That is while you collect loan even from family members and refuse to pay. I heard somebody said it is because he had an uncle that borrowed him the money to start but how many people have i seen or borrowed money myself that refuse to pay back.

I have started my journey by saving, investing and now loaning it to business woman who needs it to bust their business. FIVE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR LIFE TEN TIMES BETTER
It was a beautiful Saturday morning and my friend Oyara came to pick me from a store I went to do banners and posters for a forthcoming program I was planning for a program in Simple worship international minister.

They had an invited speaker from Port Harcourt and the theme of the program was INSPIRE. It was suppose to be a two session program but we missed the first session and the second session was so brief but my life entered another phase after that meeting.

The invited speaker actual thought on going the extra mile but during the conclusion of the teaching, he gave us an assignment which is: Write down five ways to make your life ten times better than it is right now, He quoted Daniel 1:20 where the Bible said that Daniel was found to be ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers in all matters of wisdom and understanding.

What you will read there is my personal opinion on how I have been making my life ten times better than it is from the time I attended that meeting still now.

1.Dream and Desire it: until you dream or desire to make your life better, it will never be better. One of the problems I see with young people and business people around me are they don’t have dreams for a better tomorrow. All they have are wishes. Desire today to be ten times better than you are in every area of your life including your business or family life.

2. Go the extra mile or do the extra: The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the five latter words extra. To make your life ten times better than it is right now, you must be ready to go the extra mile. Don’t just stop where ordinary people stop, don’t just do what ordinary people do. Add extra, to your business or personal life, add extra.

3. Give yourself to books: Daniel was a man of books, He said concerning himself that I Daniel understand by books. The best university in the world, I heard a man said is not Oxford, Harvard or Cambridge but the collection of books. You can be anything you want if you can just give yourself to books. Study to show yourself approved bible said.

4. Associate with the right people: evil communication the bible said corrupt good manners that mean that good communication will build good manners. To become ten times better on time, associate yourself with people who also want to make their own life better.

5. The God factor: the major thing that made Daniel standout was because of his faith in God and his stand on God. I see many people try to advance their life without God in the picture. God is the one that makes things works out for our good. If God said no, there is nothing you can do about it, so recognize the grace of God in the race of life.

Start right now to make your life ten times better than it is right now and you will be the one to enjoy it tomorrow. The best version of you and your business is just a decision away from you. See you at the top.
