Donβt just say youβre ready to work remotely. Learn the tools remote teams actually use.
Many job seekers spend all their time editing their CVs, but when they get to an interview and hear questions like:
βHave you used Slack?β
βCan you manage customer tickets in Zendesk?β
βCan you collaborate using Microsoft Teams?β
Thatβs where many people get stuck.
The truth is, employers arenβt only hiring for experience. Theyβre looking for people who can hit the ground running with the tools their teams already use.
So if youβre preparing for a remote career, make learning these tools part of your plan.
The good news? You donβt have to learn them on your own.
Registration for our August/September IT Support cohort is currently ongoing, and youβll get hands-on training on these tools and many more that are used by remote teams every day.
π¬ Which of these tools have you used before? And if you could learn one this week, which would it be? Let us know in the commentsπ
