When both parents work from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., especially those working in Nigeria, the responsibility inevitably falls heavily on the children and ultimately adds stress to everyone.
Sometimes, I have to carry my boy until he falls asleep. To avoid carrying him for too long, I either engage him in play or give him cartoons to watch. The moment he sees you playing with him—or gets his cartoons his eyes are wide open, as you can see in the video. 😂
African children are really struggling, and parents are hustling every day to give them a better future.
