Gombe Women Agenda strongly condemns all forms of violence against children and calls on government authorities, security agencies, community leaders, parents, and all citizens to take urgent and collective action to protect our children.

We urge everyone to: ✅ Remain vigilant and report suspicious activities. ✅ Support affected families and communities. ✅ Strengthen child protection measures at all levels. ✅ Ensure perpetrators are arrested and brought to justice.

Our children are not targets—they are our future. Together, we can build a safer Nigeria where every child is protected, valued, and given the opportunity to thrive.

The Gombe State Government, in partnership with UNICEF and Microsoft, has launched the Nigeria Learning Passport (NLP), a digital education platform aimed at expanding access to learning and improving academic outcomes across the state.

The initiative, unveiled at a formal ceremony in Gombe, is designed to provide children—particularly those in remote and underserved communities—with access to quality educational resources through technology.

Representing Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the head of the civil service, Prof. Mu’azu Shehu, said the program underscores the administration’s commitment to modernising education and extending learning beyond traditional classroom settings.

Empowering Women for Leadership in Gombe 💪🏽✨

The Gombe Women Agenda (GWA) successfully held a One-Day Capacity Building for Members at NITDA Hall, Gombe State University.

The session brought together passionate women committed to strengthening their voices in leadership, governance, and political participation ahead of the 2027 elections.

Through knowledge sharing, dialogue, and mentorship, participants were equipped with the tools needed to break barriers and take up leadership roles in their communities and beyond.
