The journey to this beautiful day started in high hopes but along the line things quickly switched to a lot of worry, fear consideration, and personal forgiveness, finally submission to almighty God…

Honestly I’d started preparing for the juvenile harvest months back, already engaged vendors, hopes were already high and I couldn’t wait to see the D-day! Only for us to hear of the breaking news of the dare devil terrorist k!dapping of kids of ages even below 5… As Iya ESO of my parish my heart sunk, I became worried, very freighted for weeks leading to this day so much that I lost focus on my work…

Then came questions, what do we do? What if it had been some of our kids (God forbid) the abduxted kids didn’t deserve this… Everytime it rained my heart sank thinking about what those children would be going through in that cold forest! I immediately started canceling plans because the daily breaking news made matters worse…

Then the directive came from the head pastor to suspend all paparazzi and do a sober event… After so much consideration we decided to celebrate this year’s juvenile harvest in a modest way and here we are.

We had fun, kids were well fed, adults were happy to see their children beaming with Joy, I was super elated seeing all my church children dressed in beautiful uniform garments😁 above all the good lord crowned the day with beautiful showers of blessing…
