10 years ago, I travelled to Abuja, I was actually going to the 'Black gold camp' (if you know you know 😁😁) for the compulsory National Youth service Corps.
After all the special treat at Abuja (Sis Janet, here is another thank you for hosting us) One out of the numerous blessings I receive daily from Abba is the gift of good people. Sis, our Everly Present Help will always arise for your cause, Amen.
Back to my story 😍, I woke up at the very early hour of that very day, joy filled my entire being, what do you expect nah 🤷😁 , young otondo going to camp.
Before 6am I was already fully dressed and set for the journey.
We prayed and parted ways, first thing I noticed was the sky was as cleared as it would be at 10am in my Ibadan 😂🙈
Second shock was ,the road was very very busy, it was as if the whole of Nigeria was on Abuja road that very day.
I remain focused 🥺, NYSC Camp is the destination ✌️, I got to the park after several turnings upon turnings.
Hopped in the car , waited for the remaining seats to be filled up.
Not quite long, the journey I was fantasising began to be tiring, why 😱?? Abuja sun 🤦🤦the sun was hot than the bakery beside my grandma house, nothing I did worked, used my bag, cloth and everything to cover the window yet it wasn't working, E con be like the weapon fashion against me.
Thankfully, the state I was going to was just a neighbouring state, it was a very short journey, as the special one whom the Lord loves, my 'Black gold camp' was also on the high way, I quickly dropped and entered into the camp, my joy returned, I announced my arrival with my figure 8 body and nice steppings 😂😂🙈 ( see the attached picture again for the figure 8 body 😁😁 if you laugh, I will remove you from the group 😂😂).
Now, it's time to go home ( story of how camp went would be for another day).
I have to leave the state as early as possible as I won't be stopping over in Abuja again, it's Ibadan straight, I left camp with a friend around 5:30 am boarded a car to a certain place , where we will be joining another car to the main Park.
