Don’t Be Afraid to Charge What You’re Worth

A client once brought her friend to me for an impromptu job, one that had to be delivered the very next day.

It was a small task, and I was tempted to give a low price. But then I paused and reminded myself:

🔸 I had to pause other works to focus on this
🔸 I used my time, tools, and energy
🔸 I stayed up late to meet the deadline

So I decided to charge accordingly.
Still, a thought crept in: “What if she says it’s too much?”

Guess what?

I mentioned my price, and she didn’t even blink. No arguments. No hesitation.

That moment taught me something powerful:

👉 Don't be afraid to charge what you're worth.
👉 Just make sure you deliver excellence.

Your skill, time, and experience are valuable. Don’t downplay that to “seem nice” or “get the job.” The right clients won’t just pay, they’ll respect the value you bring.
