BEHIND EVERY STITCH LIES A STORY OF DEDICATION AND PASSION❤

I recently had the opportunity to recreate this stunning gown inspired by a picture, and I must say, it was a labor of love. The design itself was deceptively simple - a full-fledged gown with a button-down and standing collar that gave it a shirt-like charm. However, the task behind bringing this vision to life was not simple.

It took me days of tireless effort, pouring my heart and soul into every detail. From carefully cutting out the fabric to sewing it and attaching each button, every step required precision and patience. There were moments when I doubted my abilities, but the end result kept me going.

As I look at the finished gown, I'm reminded that sometimes the most beautiful things in life are the ones that require the most effort. The unseen hours, the countless stitches, and the unwavering dedication all come together to create something truly special. Sometimes, people don't see the hard work that goes into making something. But I think it's worth it when it looks this good.

During Ramadan, I decided to offer a discount sale on my Niqab products. The response was overwhelming, with many customers taking advantage of the offer. However, one particular transaction turned out to be a valuable lesson for me as a business owner.

A customer from Ogere, before Berger placed an order, and I was excited to make the sale. I decided to use Lagelu Bus Terminal in Iwo road to send the package since it's the closest terminal to her location. I had the package ready and handed it over to the driver, who was already preparing to leave, so the package could leave Ibadan in time. In the rush, I didn't get a chance to collect the driver's number, which turned out to be a critical mistake.

The driver failed to deliver the package to the customer, and despite my efforts to contact him, he became unreachable. I visited the park multiple times, but he was nowhere to be found. I had to curate another package for the customer as the fault was from my side, which added to my expenses.

The customer eventually requested a refund due to the high delivery fee, which she couldn't afford. I had to refund her money, and I was left with a loss.

This experience taught me a valuable lesson: when dealing with customers from far distances, it's essential to factor in the delivery fee and ensure that the customer is willing to pay it before making the sale. As a business owner, I realized that I should never compromise on getting the driver's number, regardless of the circumstances. This experience has reinforced the importance of being thorough in my transactions.

To my fellow vendors, I want to share this experience as a cautionary tale. When dealing with long-distance transactions, please ensure that your customers are ready to afford the delivery fee before making payments to you. Always collect the driver's number, no matter how rushed you may be. It's better to take a minute to get the necessary information than to risk losing your goods, money, time and energy.

This experience has reminded me of the importance of being vigilant and thorough in my business dealings. I hope other vendors can learn from my experience. By being more cautious and thorough, we can minimize risks and build a more sustainable business.

A Loyal Customer's Story

I still remember the first time this wonderful Ummu called to place an order. She's a mother, a loyal customer, and a lover of the color black. Despite the distance between us, she's always found a way to patronize my brand. In fact, her location is so far (She resides in Igbogila, after Ilaro of Ogun state. People around Ilaro would know the place very well) that I have to rely on her sister in my vicinity to deliver her orders when she goes there, as there's no direct bus to the place from Ibadan.

Last time, I made her a stunning black gown with half khimar, got along with it niqaab, socks and gloves, all in readymade and custom-made, her first order was really massive and she loved them after receiving them. I was happy to see her again, this time with another order. She chose a different material, jonkoso, for her new jilbab. I was happy to oblige, and create another beautiful piece.

Unfortunately, due to her location and the distance, she couldn't use the jilbab for Eid. Her sister, who helped with the delivery, didn't travel home for Eid because she had exams in school. However, recently, her sister was able to visit home, and she took the jilbab along.

But that's not all! This lovely ummu also ordered a customized tote bag, which I'll post soon inshaa Allah. Stay tuned for a sneak peek into this customized masterpiece.

I want to take a moment to appreciate this wonderful mother for her consistent patronage and support. Her loyalty and love for my brand mean the world to me. I'm grateful for customers like her who trust me with their fashion needs.

I pray that Almighty Allah continues to enrich her life, bless her with goodness, and reward her for her kindness. May she remain blessed in this world and the hereafter.

As I reflect on the past few weeks, I am reminded of the blessings and challenges that came with navigating the demands of Ramadan. As a tailor, I wore many hats, juggling multiple responsibilities to ensure that my clients received the best possible service.

From sourcing fabrics to cutting, sewing, and delivering, every task required meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. The workload was intense, but I am grateful for the opportunity to have served my clients and fulfilled their orders.

After a brief respite, I am delighted to announce my official return to work after a rejuvenating break during the blessed month. AlhamduliLlaah, I am grateful to Allah for granting me the strength, health, and opportunity to resume back to work.
