Today, we’re entering the world of the undead with the Vampire Star Handbag.

I wanted this design to feel like something pulled straight from a gothic manor. I added these silver pentagon chains to the front as a “seal”, because in the legends, silver is the one thing a vampire can’t escape. ⛓️

Construction-wise, this was a huge test of my patience. Creating a 3D star with five perfect points required some serious geometry. I spent a lot of time watching tutorials to make sure the structure was sharp and professional.

The contrast between the fabric and the “protective” silver chains makes this one of my favorite high-fashion pieces of the series so far!

I wanted to see if I could turn a controversial shape into a functional piece of luxury, and the result is honestly mind-blowing.

It looks so realistic, but it’s 100% African fabric. Paw paw paw! I made a gun bag with no bullets, but it definitely packs a punch in the style department. The best part? It actually functions! It fits your keys, cash, and even pepper spray for that extra layer of “security.” Just throw it over your shoulder and you’re good to go. It’s edgy, it’s weird, and it’s definitely going to turn heads in the street.

This was a huge mental challenge for me. In real life, I avoid coffin shops at all costs, so building this Coffin Backpack had me whispering “Blood of Jesus” the entire time! Facing my superstitions for the sake of my art was intense, but the spooky result is exactly what this week needed.

Building this Coffin Backpack was technically challenging, but the mental part was even harder. It’s spooky, it’s gothic, and it’s definitely one of the “weirdest” things I’ve ever made. I faced my fears for the art, and I have to say... the result is breathtaking (literally!).

Welcome to Day 1 of HALLOWEEN WEEK! 🦇 Today I tackled the Bat, and it’s giving me all the spooky chills.

I’m so happy with how the features came out on this one, especially the eyes. I think they give it that perfectly eerie, “watching you” effect. I’ll be honest with you guys: I spent so much time in the market looking for a specific costume cross to add to the design, but I couldn’t find exactly what I needed. But you know what? After seeing the final reveal, I don’t think it needed it at all. It’s raw, it’s dark, and it’s a total Halloween mood.

If you’ve been following my documentaries, you know Day 3 nearly took me out! 😂 But seeing the full Week 1 collection together makes all the stress and late nights worth it. Who knew Ankara could look so good as a Tortoise or a Fish?

Day 5 of 30, and I have officially found my wings! 🦋

For this piece, the challenge was all about symmetry.
I wanted the wings to look sharp and structural while letting the vibrant colors of the Ankara fabric do the talking. It’s one thing to have a “weird” idea, but it’s another to execute it with this much precision. I am so proud of the craftsmanship on this bag, it feels like a true evolution of my brand.

Day 4 is here and the energy has officially shifted! 🐟 After the struggle of the paw print, this Fish Handbag feels like a breakthrough. I chose the most vibrant, colorful fabric I could find to bring this creature to life, and the realistic fin detail is the icing on the cake. I’m finally in the zone!

After the stress of the last few days, this Fish Handbag has me absolutely breathless. I finally feel like I’m in the creative zone and I am loving every second of this process.

For this bag, I decided to go all out with the most vibrant, colorful fabric in my studio. I wanted it to feel alive! The biggest challenge was making the fin look realistic, but seeing it all come together; the structure, the colors, and the movement, it’s everything I imagined and more. This isn’t just a bag; it’s a piece of wearable art.

Day 3 of 30 and the “weirdness” is getting technical!

This Paw Print bag looks like all fun and games, but the sewing process was one of the most stressful things I’ve done yet. Tiny curves + thick fabric = a designer’s workout. But we survived!

Between the thick fabric and the precision needed, Day 3 nearly took me out! But looking at it now? It was paw-sitively worth the headache 🐾
