Let me speak to every beginner bagmaker out there…
I’m Amele Tosin Opeyemi, founder of Temmyt Entrepreneurial Hub (TEH)—and if you’re just starting your bagmaking journey, this is for you.
I’ve seen this pattern too many times…
Talented hands, beautiful dreams… but avoidable mistakes holding them back.
Let’s fix that today 👇
Mistake 1: Rushing the Process
You just learned how to make one or two bags and boom
You’re already posting “Now taking orders” 😭
I understand the excitement, but here’s the truth:
Speed without mastery will cost you your reputation.
Poor finishing, weak stitching, rough edges.
Customers notice these things FAST.
✅ Solution:
Slow down and focus on skill refinement.
Practice repeatedly.
Work on neatness, durability, and finishing.
Before selling, ask yourself:
👉 “Would I confidently pay for this bag?”
If the answer is not a strong YES, go back and improve.
