Sometimes I sit down and ask myself if it’s really worth it, this work I’m doing that takes so much of my time and strength, yet the money no even reach the effort I put in. 😔

Anytime I get holiday and stay in my shop, I notice I make more sales than when I resume work. That’s when I realized my business just needs me, my time, my focus, my presence.

I told some people that I’m planning to leave where I’m working so I can stay in my shop and grow my business, and some said, Clothes no be food o, stay where you dey..

But deep down, I know this is what I want. The Heemah Brand is not just a business to me it’s a dream I want to nurture with love and patience.

Yes, I still dey work small because I wanted to get a new phone, but I know when it’s time, Allah will make everything easy for me.

I just want to have more time for my business, my children, and for myself too.
And I believe bihidinillahi 🤲 one day, I’ll look back and say
Alhamdulillahi, I took that bold step.

Because truly, peace of mind and barakah no get duplicate. 🌸

Being a married woman is truly a blessing, but one thing I’ve come to realize is that house chores are part of the package — you really can’t avoid them unless you have a helper. From morning till now, I’ve been caught up with cleaning, cooking, arranging, and attending to one thing or the other at home. By the time you’re done, you’ll feel like you’ve already spent the whole day working 😅.

But here’s the truth: no matter how much the house keeps us busy, we still have to push ourselves to step out and attend to our business, because that’s another home we are building for ourselves and our families. That’s why I’m only just getting to the shop now. It’s not easy, but we move.

Sometimes people see women running their businesses and think it’s just about posting pictures and waiting for customers, but behind the scenes, there’s a lot of sacrifice, late nights, and juggling between family responsibilities and business commitments. It takes strength, discipline, and passion to keep both homes going.

To every woman out there — whether you’re married, single, working, or running your own business — may Allah continue to give us the strength to balance it all. 💕

And to my amazing customers, thank you for always being patient and understanding. Even when I show up late at the shop, I always look forward to serving you beautifully at The Heemah Brand. 🌸

One thing I’ve noticed about this business journey is that connection truly matters.

Whenever I collect ladies’ numbers and save them not just to chat, but so they can view my WhatsApp status, it often turns into sales, Alhamdulillahi. 🌸

Recently, I collected numbers from three lovely ladies but misplaced them the next day 😩. A few days later, I met one of them again and collected their numbers back and Subhanallah, one of them visited my shop yesterday to buy two Dubai jersey scarfs! 😍
