POPE LEO XIV ORDAINS 11 TO PRIESTHOOD

Today May 31, on the feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Leo XIV ordained 11 men to the Catholic priesthood for the Diocese of Rome in St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican.

During the ordination Mass, the Pope emphasized the importance of priests being witnesses of God's love and forgiveness, which reconciles people and makes them one community. The new priests had been scheduled to be ordained by Pope Francis on May 10, but the ordination was postponed due to Pope Francis' passing on April 21.

Seven of the newly ordained priests studied at the Rome diocesan seminary, while four attended the Rome Redemptoris Mater Seminary, run by the diocese and the Neocatechumenal Way. Pope Leo XIV encouraged the priests to be credible role models of Christian living, saying, that we may not be perfect, yes, "but it is necessary to be credible".

In his words, “We are in the midst of the people of God, to be able to stand before them, with a credible testimony”. Thus, together, “we will rebuild the credibility of a wounded Church, sent to a wounded humanity, within a wounded creation. We are not yet perfect, but it is necessary to be credible”.

This was Pope Leo's first priestly ordination since becoming a Pope on the 8th of May 2025.

THE HOLY ROSARY
The Holy Rosary And Sacred Scripture So Lets see if what Catholics are doing is wrong from the Biblical point of view!

Many people who are ignorant of the Scripture, do condemn Catholics for praying the holy Rosary,
Luke 1:28. .. he said, + -- HAIL(MARY), FULL OF GRACE , THE LORD IS WITH YOU.* Luke 1:41-42a And Elizabeth, filled ..*with the Holy Spirit, ...and said, *Most -- BLESSED ARE YOU AMONG WOMEN ... Luke 1:48 .. from now on will all ages call me -- BLESSED(AMONG ALL WOMEN) ...*than Ruth, Sarah, etc

Luke 1:42b + -- AND BLESSED IS THE FRUIT OF YOUR WOMB(JESUS).

Jesus is Mary's fruit. Good fruit does not come from anything but a good tree (Mt. 7:17-18)! Luke 1:43 ..*And how does this happen to me, that the --- MOTHER OF my LORD (GOD) ...should come to me? And Catholics add this intercessory prayer line(by the virtue of what she did on the poor couple's wedding day!)

PRAY FOR US SINNERS NOW AND AT THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH,

AMEN

All these and more are mysteries Catholics recites/meditates during Rosary prayers, to remind Her who she is.

And Mary haven intervene in Couples wedding that made Jesus to Turn water into wine (when Jesus is even not ready for the ministry) this simply tells us that Mary knows Him what His son is capable of doing. same as Mary told Him when He lost at the Temple for 3 days in Luke 2:48 ...

* Son, why have you treated us so*

Only, was what she said, no flogging, no shouting, and He(Jesus) respected them and followed them Home, who can lost a Her Only Child for 3 days and searching him on foot for 3days journey and finds out he did that intentional that will not finish him? or crying etc the reason is that, they understand him well!. that's why in John 2:3-5. ..*when the wine finished, the mother of Jesus said to Him,

--they have no wine* Jesus knowing this will expose him (because his mate were all killed by Harold because of him when he was a kid), He said O woman what have you to do with me, for my hour is not.

POPE LEO XIV ORDAINS 11 NEW PRIESTS IN FIRST ORDINATION AS PONTIFF 🇻🇦✝️💝

In a deeply moving ceremony at St. Peter’s Basilica on the feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Leo XIV ordained 11 men to the priesthood for the Diocese of Rome, marking his first priestly ordination since ascending to the papacy earlier this month.

Originally scheduled for May 10 under Pope Francis, the ordination was postponed following the late pontiff’s passing on April 21. Today’s Mass was not only a solemn rite but also a powerful moment of continuity for the Church under its new leader.

Addressing the congregation, Pope Leo XIV underscored the essential role of priests as living witnesses to God’s love and mercy. “We are in the midst of the people of God, to be able to stand before them, with a credible testimony,” he said. “We are not yet perfect, but it is necessary to be credible.”

The Holy Father called on the new priests to help restore the Church’s credibility in a wounded world, urging them to be “credible role models of Christian living,” not by striving for perfection but by embodying authenticity, compassion, and service.

Of the 11 ordained, seven received their formation at the diocesan seminary of Rome, while four studied at the Rome Redemptoris Mater Seminary, affiliated with the Neocatechumenal Way.

This ordination marked a poignant and hopeful chapter for the Roman Church, as Pope Leo XIV begins his ministry with a strong message of reconciliation and renewal.
