Exactly three years ago today. ❤️

I saw this picture in my memories this morning and just smiled.

So much has happened between the woman in this picture and the woman I am today.

I’ve sewn. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve learnt from customers. I’ve improved my finishing, fitting and the way I see clothes altogether. I’ve also watched AMADE grow from something I was simply passionate about into something I now have a much bigger vision for.

But lately, I’ve been asking myself a question:

“Grace, if AMADE is going where you say it is going, are you willing to become better too?”

My answer is YES.

So, I’m going back to the classroom. 😊

For the next three months, I’ll be training at Dija’s Fashion School to sharpen my skills, learn new techniques, challenge some of the things I already know and push myself creatively.

And I don’t want to disappear for three months and come back showing you only the finished version.

I want to take you with me.

I’ll share what I’m learning, the things that surprise me, my mistakes, little wins, techniques I’m allowed to show you, and hopefully some of the transformation along the way.

Because this next chapter of AMADE isn’t only about making new clothes.

It’s about becoming better at the craft behind them.
