Besides the fact I couldn’t wait to get my hands on suede when I started training in this craft many years ago— although I did end up ruining an entire shoe upper with contact cement because I couldn’t identify the face and underside— it was my favourite material to work with in my early days as a Shoemaker, now, it’s one of my favourites!
