Life has been life-ing (as they say 😅), but my love for sewing never left. Today, I want to share a simple tip that has made my sewing sessions so much easier—and safer too!

Why I Prefer Pin Cushions Over Magnets…🧵

📌 Sewing rooms can get a bit clumsy, and you might end up turning the whole place upside down just looking for your magnets. But with a wrist pin cushion, it's always right there with you!

📌 I once accidentally stepped on my magnet full of pins—on a busy day. Let’s just say, it wasn’t fun at all! 😖

📌 A pin cushion helps reduce all the wandering around while sewing just to find where the pins are hiding.

📌 It also encourages you to put your pins back immediately after use instead of dropping them anywhere (and later regretting it!).

✨ It’s great to have a magnet, but please do yourself a favor—make a PIN CUSHION too!

I made mine and thought to share with my amazing sew family 💛

Have you ever thought about the terms FASHION AND STYLE?
Let's have a closer look:

FASHION: Refers to the form of self - expression or trends at a specific time within a given culture. It refers to the popular way of dressing. Fashion editors, influencers and the media respond respond to the vision with their own ideas. Retailers use this information to sell clothes and accessories to the public .

STYLE: This refers to a way in which individual expresses themselves in form of clothing, architecture and even writing style. In the world of fashion, "style" is the way in which an individual expresses themselves through the aesthetic choices that they make in clothing, hairstyles, accessories and jewelries that they choose to put together.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FASHION AND STYLE

Fashion is more collective and style is more individual.

INDIVIDUAL VERSES COLLECTIVE

Personal style belongs to the person's own self - expression. Fashion has to do with the global trends and fashion industry and business side.

TIMELESS AND TRENDY

Fashion is timely, but style is timeless. A person that is fashionable follow the fashion closely and wears the latest trends. An individual that is stylish will follow some trend but will always stay true to their personal style instead of absorbing the lastest trends.
