The learning lane is always messy. 😮‍💨

Only the determined ones stay on it.

Meet Azriel Ijoma .. she chose to walk that messy path the day she enrolled at Sew All Fashion Academy.

This is her very first project: A *Mood Board for her brand, _IJE’s Fashions_.

Listen to her break it down:
From the center leaf fabric with stone beads, to the flower-beaded belt at the waist, the draped beads along the hips, the blue fabric running to the back, the orange trim at the knee, all the way to the mermaid skirt with imprinted flower cut-outs. She even detailed the shoulder flower, the skin-exposing arm gaps, and the ribbon details down to the wrist.

But this isn’t just about fabric.
A mood board does 2 things:
1. It gives your ideas LIFE. Clients can _see_ what you mean before a single stitch is cut.
2. It creates communication. For your team, your clients, and even for weddings, banquets, events everyone is on the same page.

Ijoma is new. She’s learning. But the clarity in her vision already speaks volumes.

She said it herself: “The learning lane is always messy.”

But Ijoma showed up anyway.

This is *Azrael Ijoma*, a new student at *Sew All Fashion Academy*, presenting her first assignment: A detailed mood board for _IJE’s Fashions_.

She walked us through every detail — the beaded leaf fabric, the waist flower belt, draped side beads, blue back panel, orange knee trim, mermaid skirt cut-outs, shoulder details, and ribboned sleeves.

Why does this matter?
Because in fashion, vision comes before the sewing machine. A mood board helps you:
✅ Communicate clearly with clients & your team
✅ Stay focused on your design goal
✅ Pitch for real events like weddings & banquets

Sewing corsets doesn’t make you a fashion designer.

Tailoring is actually the _least_ part of fashion. It’s the end, not the beginning.

Fashion is like medicine: you’ve got surgeons, pediatricians, etc. Same in fashion , we have styling, fashion business, textiles, merchandising, illustration... so many paths where you can make money, be known, and be happy WITHOUT sewing clothes.

Don’t choose fashion just because of “optics.” Choose the aspect that fits YOU.
