Three Countries, One Naija Style Reign: Wedding or World Tour?
Been a while on this space but then I saw a need to speak on this. Well, as a fashion designer, watching Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi’s wedding wardrobe unfold across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland was like attending a private masterclass—except the whole world got an invite. Starting in Monaco, Temi’s gown was pure craftsmanship: layers of tulle and hand-embroidered beads so delicate you’d swear it could float away if the breeze was strong enough. The silhouette was a beautiful mix of classic and modern, hugging just right without shouting for attention—because, of course, subtlety is the real flex when you’re carrying that much glam. And Mr Eazi? His tailored suits looked so sharp and perfectly fitted, I half expected him to start issuing business deals from the altar. Honestly, if I had that kind of style, I might skip the vows and get straight into “CEO of Wedding Elegance” mode.
Then Dubai spoiled us with a whole new level of "shine your eye" fashion. Temi’s outfits sparkled so much it was like she swallowed the sun and decided to wear it. Gold accents and textures danced under the desert sun like they were in a TikTok challenge—and let's be real, anyone not impressed obviously needs to check their eyeballs. Mr Eazi matched her energy effortlessly, looking like he just stepped off a billboard shouting, “Yes o, I’m married, but who said I’m not still the main character?” Finally, Iceland made us all rethink winter styling—Temi’s avant-garde looks cut through the cold like a fresh breeze, showing that Nigerian luxury laughs in the face of freezing temps. Mr Eazi complemented her perfectly, sharp enough to slice through the Arctic chill—and the competition. These two didn’t just dress for their wedding; they turned every location into their personal fashion playground, reminding us all that Naija style is not just global—it’s unbeatable.
