5 Years Later… 🤍✨
Today Facebook reminded me that it’s been 5 years since I opened this page.
And honestly? I smiled.
Yes, I haven’t been very active here.
Yes, there was a pause.
But the skill never stopped.
Life happened. I chose to pursue my career more intentionally. I grew in different directions.
But I never dropped this gift.
I kept sewing.
I kept creating.
I kept making beautiful, clean, neatly finished dresses for myself, my loved ones, and a few amazing clients.
Yesterday someone said to me, “Joy, looking at you, one wouldn’t even know you’re this creative.”
That struck me.
Why keep quiet about something this beautiful?
Growth doesn’t always look loud.
Sometimes it looks like refining your craft quietly. Learning. Improving. Becoming better.
There may have been mistakes. There may have been alterations. But that’s part of mastery.
And one thing I’m proud of? My pieces are clean. Neat. Thoughtfully made.
So this is me saying —
✨ Back to beautiful clothing.
✨ Back to putting myself out there.
✨ Back to embracing this creative part of me.
I’m grateful to God for this gift. And I’m proud of myself for not letting it die.
Year 5 feels like a rebirth.
Let’s create magic again 🤍✂️🧵
