📝 Spelling Rule

When do we end with 'ck', 'k' or 'c' ❓

✅ Use 'ck' at the end of short word, after a short vowel.
Examples: back, lick, block.

✅ Use 'k' at the end of short word after a long vowel or consonant.
Examples: weak, speak, pink, milk.

✅ Use 'c' at the end if there is two or more vowels in a word.
Examples: linguistic, statistic, economic.

Note: If you here /k/ sound in the middle of a word, apply the same method.

When Do We Use Capital Letter Correctly❓

We use capital letters (uppercase letters) in the following situations:

1. At the beginning of a sentence
✅ The sun is shining.
✅ We are going to school.

2. For names of people
✅ Amina is my friend.
✅ My name is Zainab.

3. For names of places
✅ I live in Kaduna.
✅ They visited Nigeria.

4. For days of the week and months of the year
✅ Monday, Friday
✅ January, December

5. For the pronoun "I"
✅ I am happy.
❌ i am happy.

✅ He asked if I knew her.
❌ he asked if i knew her.

6. For names of organizations, schools, and companies

7. For titles before names
