ART AS RESIDENT is the fashion project by Isabelle Tellié, who collaborates with artist in order to shape a new form of fashion with art as resident.

ART AS RESIDENT is the first project of fashion designer Isabelle Tellié. The departure of this new design program is the idea that fashion as we know it, has become insular and is placing itself outside society. Inspired by this detachment, Isabelle tries to restore this relation, by collaborating with other young artists, whose work has a strong connection with oud modern world and society. For

the first collaboration, Isabelle selected painter Roos van Dijk, who’s work starts from her personal experience of contemporary architecture and our constantly expanding urban environment, expressing this in hard-edge paintings and modest plaster reliefs. The shared use of minimalistic visual imigary in their work, will bring a strong optic character to the SHIFTING PERSPECTIVES collection. By using innovative technologies such as laser cutting, 3D printing and welding, from Isabelle’s side, combined with the architectural patterns of Roos her work, our static man-made environment will come to life on the human body in motion. With a picture of constantly shifting perspective of forms and lines as result, they are exploring the boundaries of both their professions.
