While it might sound like progress, GMO cotton has serious downsides. GMO cotton is engineered to resist pests, which leads to an increase in the use of chemical pesticides and herbicides. These chemicals can contaminate soil and water sources, harming wildlife and reducing biodiversity. Over time, pests can develop resistance, leading to even heavier chemical use—a cycle that damages our ecosystem.

Regarding farmers who grow GMO cotton, they become dependent on large corporations for seeds, which they must purchase anew each year. These seeds are often more expensive, and the increased use of chemicals can lead to health issues and financial strain for farmers, particularly in developing countries.

At Elements of Freedom, we believe in a different approach. Our commitment to using 100% non-GMO cotton means you’re choosing clothing that’s better for the planet and supports fair practices for farmers.

🍲 setting the table for some bone broth bliss!

1. Start with a hearty pot of bone broth. Simmer your bones for 12-24 hours with garlic, onions, carrots, rose petals and celery for that rich, nourishing base🥣
