WAUW. What a year we had. We moved the entire stock & business to a whole new area, this took some adjusting but once the season started and we were up and running we realised we made the right decision.

We LOVE our new space and the opportunities that came with it! We can not wait for 2020. Knowing this will be our year to shine and light up even more parties than we already did!

That being said... We also realised a fully mobile makeover store for every location. Here's a glimpse of it in action and full force!

A huge thanks to everyone who helped us out this year 💋and ofcours a big thumbs up to Renze Boeren who created this cool video for us!

Kunst in 't Kasteel -ARTic Monkey-

Tamara Tantico (Tamara Jongsma) is een Amsterdamse kunstenares.
Na een kwart eeuw costume-design liet zij de ﬁlmwereld achter zich om alle aandacht op haar autonome werk te vestigen.
Haar schilderijen en objecten zijn helder en kleurrijk en bevatten een diepe gelaagdheid waarin de niet aﬂatende kracht van de natuur versus de ijdele inspanningen van de mens de kern vormt.
Thema’s als; verval en de algemene angst voor de dood zijn, met een ﬂinke dosis humor en zelfrelativering, in haar werk te vinden.
Haar opvallende verschijning leverde haar de bijnaam ‘Frida van de eilanden’ op.
Zij woonde 20 jaar op een van de eilandjes in de oude binnenstad van Amsterdam.
Haar Nederlands/Indonesische afkomst en voorliefde voor traditionele klederdrachten zijn van grote invloed op haar werk en kostuums.
U bent van harte welkom op het atelier aan de Marxistraat 88 in Amsterdam.
