She will welcome you into our small homey store in Kedungu, Bali!

It makes me happy that my kids are part of the ‘work’ things I’ve started doing here in Bali with local artisans and Tini in the store. It all unfolded naturally. They’re part of it—designing clothing, surrounded by fabrics everywhere, sketching ideas, trying on every piece. From shaping the logo to dreaming up the website. From packing orders and adding handwritten notes, to helping design and rebuild the shop, setting up workshops, and being right there in the middle of it all.

And it’s the same with all the other plans, paths, and rhythms of my daily life.

The other day, I overheard them say that ‘Mama doesn’t really work.’
At first, when they got born I was at home with them full-time, actually not working. But for nearly four years now, I’ve been building, working hard, trying to create something real. So to hear them say that—it feels like a compliment :).

Because we do a lot of it together.
In our own rhythm.
With attention, in the moment, in the flow of real life.
So it just is life—not something separate called work.

I love that the store can be a living space where they’re free to try things, to create based on what they’re curious about right now. And I hope it continues to be a space where other kids and adults can come together—to make, to find clothing that feels like a second skin, and to play, in the broadest sense of the word.

I’ ve always believed that there’s something special about small, boutique-style places. They can have this charm and warmth. That is why i wanted to open a small clothing shop - something personal, inviting and cozy. I love it when people say they walk in and feel right at home.
