POP-UP WORKSHOP | Stedelijk Museum Schiedam | Een Kledingstuk Upcyclen

We hebben allemaal wel kleding in de kast liggen die we niet meer dragen, of restjes stof van eerdere naaiprojecten die te klein lijken voor een nieuw project. Maar weggooien hoeft niet! Deze materialen kunnen juist de basis vormen voor een creatief en uniek upcyclingproject.

Neem een oud kledingstuk, een lap stof of andere materialen die je thuis hebt liggen mee naar de workshop. Samen gaan we aan de slag en ontdekken we hoe we jouw meegenomen items een nieuw leven kunnen geven. Met creatieve technieken, inspiratie en een beetje fantasie maken we van iets dat ongebruikt is weer iets moois en nieuws.

Tijdens deze workshop leer je anders kijken naar je kleding en materialen, en ontdek je hoe je met eenvoudige aanpassingen een persoonlijk en duurzaam ontwerp kunt creëren.

My iron burned out… and it burned my favorite summer dress too. 💔 the one that I made lately for myself

At first, I was sad. But then I decided to give it a second life and a little more character.

One stitch at a time, I repaired it by hand using Boro stitching. It isn’t perfect anymore, but that’s exactly what makes it beautiful. Now it tells a story and shines in its own unique way.
