🇬🇧 How to do a full buste adjustment to a princess seam (for now: the pocketdress and sporty jacket).

All Elizabeth Sweetwater patterns are made for jersey fabrics. The great thing about jersey is that often bust adjustments are not needed.

Having said that, adjusting the seams to your bust measurements can make a difference in the fit and it will feel more comfortable in wearing. By making the bust more roomy, the fabric will not stretch tightly at the bust giving a more flattering look.

Even though you might not see it from the pictures (I always use a low photography angle to look taller an less b***y..) I wear an F cup. In this tutorial I added 2cm (1cm per cupsize starting from a D cup) to the front and I was happy with the result.

In some cases you might decide to choose a smaller size if you have chosen a large size due to your chest size, so you will have a better fit around the shoulder and back.

Feel free to ask questions and yes, I will also do an fba for a garment with regular darts soon.

🇳🇱Hoe doe je een voll buste-aanpassing aan een prinsessennaad (voorlopig: de pocketdress en het sporty jacket).

Alle Elizabeth Sweetwater-patronen zijn gemaakt voor jerseystoffen.Het mooie van jersey is dat patroon aanpassingen vaak niet nodig zijn. Dat gezegd hebbende, kan het aanpassen van de naden aan je bustemaat een verschil maken in de pasvorm en zal het dragen comfortabeler aanvoelen. Door de buste ruimer te maken, trekt de stof niet bij de buste, wat een meer flatterende beeld geeft.

Ook al zie je het misschien niet op de foto's (ik gebruik altijd een lage fotografiehoek om langer en minder rondborstig te lijken..) Ik draag een F-cup. In deze tutorial heb ik 2cm (1cm per cupmaat uitgaande van cup D) aan de voorkant toegevoegd en ik was blij met het resultaat. In sommige gevallen zou je kunnen besluiten om een ​​kleinere patroon maat te kiezen als je een grote maat hebt gekozen vanwege je borstomvang, zodat je een betere pasvorm hebt rond de schouder en rug.

Stel gerust vragen en ja, ik doe binnenkort ook een fba voor een kledingstuk met gewone coupenaden.

🇳🇱 Twijfelt je of de spanning van uw lockmachine juist is? Probeer dit!

Rijg de machine in met gekleurde draden die overeenkomen met de gekleurde spannings knoppen op de machine.

De linkernaald is geel, de rechternaald is groen, de bovenste grijper is blauw, de onderste grijper is rood. Als je kunt zien waar elke draad vandaan komt, kunt je gemakkelijker zien welke van de spanningsknoppen je moet aanpassen.

Pas de spanning aan door omhoog (strakker) of omlaag (losser) te schuiven tot je tevreden bent met het resultaat.

🇳🇱 :1. Beleg en/of biesje on de achterhals naad te bedekken geeft elke top een professionele afwerking.
2. Rand aflocken, stik label.
3. Naai rand, schouder, hals
4. Klaar voor verdere verwerking.
5. Een nekband toevoegen: Knip een strook van 2 cm breed. Vouw aan beide kanten 0,5 cm naar binnen en stik langs achterhals.
6. Vouw de band terug, vouw 0,5cm naar binnen en speld vast
7. Doorstikken op de rand.

HYDRATE YOUR 🪴🌱🍀 🌞

🇳🇱 Ik kreeg pas een prachtige vintage rok van een vriendin.
Ik vind 'm geweldig maar helaas was ze een beetje te groot.
Ik paste de rok aan naar mijn maat en wilde er meteen nog eentje!
In mijn reels vind je een uitleg hoe jij ook een banenrok kunt maken.

Deze rok bestaat uit 8 panels die aan elkaar genaaid moeten worden. Een handig hulpmiddel daarbij is het gebruik van stretch garen om te na**en. Snel en super rekbaar.

🇬🇧 Recently I received this beautiful vintage skirt from a friend.
I loved it but it was a little too big.
After alterering it to my size I felt that I needed one more!
In my reels you can find a tutorial so you can maken one too.

This panel skirt consists of 8 panels that have to be sewn together. A great tool to do that is using stretch yarn for sewing!
Quick and super stretchy!
