LET’S JUMP INTO 2021! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Last year was a special year for most of us and a big challenge too! The lockdown in Accra earlier this year made us decide to put our next collection on hold, but as well made us realize what is most important for us. And that is giving support to the Southern Cameroon refugees that are struggling to start a new life.
We hope that 2021 is a year that we can support more than before, that we can launch our brand new collection and that we let love lead!💖

Have a good weekend you all!!!
Today is Indepence Day in Southern Cameroon. On this day Southern Cameroonians marching for peace during the freedom walk with a peace plant. Southern Cameroon is also named as Ambazonia.
On the 1st of October 1961, Southern Cameroon (English Cameroon) were liberated and went into federation with French Cameroon, but from that moment there has been serious discrimination against Southern Cameroonians by the French Governement led by Paul Biya. They are facing many atrocities and oppression already for 60 years by the French regime.
22th of September 2017 the people of Southern Cameroon went out with a peace plant. Many people has lost their lives that day due to extrajudicial attacks by the military. From then the pressure increased.
On the 1st of October 2017, they went out to celebrate Independence but the military attacks continued.
The 30th of November 2017, Paul Biya declared war against Southern Cameroonians claimed they were terrorists, only because they were speaking up for their rights.
Ever since the oppression and the extrajudicial attacks has gotten worse.
Share the story of Southern Cameroon and let’s speak up together. If we stand up together, we stand strong!

Believe and let love lead.✨
Let’s give love and energy to people that need support and understanding. Share with them and stand with them.✨
Golden hour 💛💛💛
Every clothing piece we make is unique and made with kente prints and polished cotton. We always produce a small stock for every piece and try to restock if the fabrics are still available at the local market. It comes and goes! Sometimes you find just enough yards to reproduce after 2 hours of searching 🙏🏼, but that makes all the designs limited and special!
Good friday to y’all! ✨

The Asantewaa dress for women empowerment! 💪🏿
Nana Yaa Asantewaa was a Ghanaian warrior queen in the Ashanti Empire, born around 1840, who rose up against the invading British. She had a leadership role in resisting Britisch colonization.
To inspire the leaders of her community, Yaa Asantewaa proclaimed that if the men of the kingdom would not defend the people, then the women would rise to the challenge.
She became an image of strength and resistance!

Hi there! We have a little update about our new collection:
This year we planned to make a new collection with Ghanaian traditional dyed textiles in collaboration with local artisans. No more Kente, but new textile designs with Tie and Dye and Batik! Unfortunately because of the pandemic we are not able to continue this process.
The team we work with is not located in one spot, but on different spots in Accra. Accra is the most affected Area in Ghana, so we decided to extend our plans to later this year or next year!
We are now working with our remaining textiles to make cool accessories that will fit with the past collections. Soon the online shop will be open again for orders!
Keep you updated! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Hello there! It has been quiet lately from our side, but we hope everyone is safe in this insecure time.
This is the third week of the lockdown in Accra and probably this lockdown will continue, due to the fact that the cases are still rising in the city.
Unfortunately for refugees and people that live in poverty, this lockdown means no money to buy daily meals, no good sanitary, no proper shelter and no eguipments to protect yourself against Covid-19. Good hygiene and social distancing is impossible in these circumstances.
To give something back to the community and the less privileges, we’ve been busy with creating 100 face masks to protect the refugees based in Accra. We will donate the masks to the refugee camps at the Ghana Refugee Board.
We found an amazing partner Makongo Family Charity - MAFAC from USA, who is helping us to sponsor another 500 face masks to donate to the refugees. We are very thankful for that!
The face masks are reusable and double layered for extra protection and carefully made with the strict guidelines from the World Health Organization.
Be safe and be careful!

Some support and love for Southern Cameroon!
The people of Southern Cameroon (English Cameroon) are in real danger and under serious attack by the military from the French speaking Government in Cameroon every single day. Last week a pregnant lady and children got murdered, which is really unbelievable!! The Government claims that these attacks were caused by the separatists, who are protesting for their freedom, but all the evidence is there that the military is responsible! The government paint the Southern Cameroonians as terrorists, while they just want their Freedom and Equal Rights.
The world is still silent about the genocide and they don't get any support from the Western World what really pains our heart...
Among many who have reiterated calls for a solution to the crisis in Cameroon is former Ghanaian Pre

Stand up for the people that can't stand for themselves because they live in suppression and war. Equal rights is what everybody deserves, but this is still one of the biggest problems on our planet. Like the rights for English Cameroon!
Every week we will share a story to give more attention for the big struggle that is going on in the English part of Cameroon. There is a genocide going on caused by the French speaking Government. At this moment there are many refugees from English Cameroon in Nigeria to find a safer place. Children with no family, elderly and sick people, pregnant women, they lost their families and have nothing left.
Our partner The Ayah Foundation is standing for the oppressed people from Southern Cameroon and we want to help by giving 5% of our proceeds to the foundation.
