A little note about AI, authenticity and supporting local…
There's been a lot of conversation and speculation around AI lately, especially when it comes to small businesses and the images we see online.
Personally, I think AI can be an incredibly helpful tool, and I can absolutely see the benefits it brings, especially for small business owners who are often juggling everything themselves!
But I also think there's something really important about keeping things authentic and supporting local brands and the real people behind them.
I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes of LiviRuby.🙋♀️
Every photo you see of our clothing being worn is taken by me, on my phone. No fancy studio, no professional camera and no big production team.
Just my own children or our beautiful little friends, photographed at home, outside, playing and simply being kids.
Do I sometimes use AI editing apps to tidy up or change a background? Absolutely! And I don't think there's anything wrong with that. But the children, the clothing and those little moments are real.
Sometimes the lighting isn't perfect, the house isn't spotless, and getting a toddler to cooperate is a mission in itself! 😂
But that's what I love about it.
I want you to see our clothing on real children, in their natural environments. How it fits, how it moves and how it looks during everyday life.
I also think now, more than ever, it's important to support our local small businesses. Behind so many of these brands are real families, real people and countless hours of hard work that you don't always see.
I'm not against AI. I think it's an amazing tool when used in the right ways, and I'll happily continue using it where it helps.
But I never want to lose the personal, human side of LiviRuby.
Real kids. Real clothing. Real everyday moments!
And a real mum behind the camera, usually trying to convince someone to smile! 😂
Thank you to those who keep supporting local and helping families stay together ❤️.
