The Far South brand is owned by Southern Workwear - a family owned business established in 1993 specialising in industrial & rural workwear. With customer feedback & suggestions we found that there was a need for oilskin & woollen clothing that f

itted well and also had the durability needed in the harsh work environments of New Zealand. The Far South range started with the original oilskin sleeveless vest and now we offer a comprehensive range of New Zealand made oilskin garments including a childrens' oilskin vest & jacket. The Far South woollen clothing range includes pure wool singlets, zip and collar wool mix jerseys, woollen gloves, merino wool beanies, plus thermal work socks, and fleck & kids woollen socks. Far South of New Zealand now supplies NZ wide corporate companies with merchandise & uniform offering a full in-house embroidery & printing service to ensure efficiency and 100% customer satisfaction is received.

Orepuki is a tiny settlement with only 60 people(!). It is on the coast of Te Waewae Bay, surrounded by the dense forests of Longwood Range, and has views of the Princess Mountains and Rakiura Stewart Island.
