Going forward, the shop will be open by appointment. This gives me the flexibility to pop out if I need to without the anxiety of hoping no one calls in while I am out. I am usually here and will always be on hand for guests at the BNB if they would like to shop or have a piece made while they stay.

I think the more I sit with it, I am feeling like perhaps this is a melt and start over. I had the cap sitting on my bench for a week, mostly fabricated just awaiting final touches. I thought about it, let the process happen organically because I thought I would let the scepter speak. Less is more. Now I think I need to revisit. Or scrap it and start something else in the meantime.

This happens more than you think. I have finished many pieces and never share them, break them up and start over. This one made it out to the wild for a short time 😆

How the sausage is made... a lil bit of how I get from A to B. Recycled projects that just gather dust make the best blank slates. New enhydro pendant incoming. It's maybe half done, I haven't filmed any of it being made past this point. I get too into the groove to stop what I am doing and play with the camera. Will pop some progress photos tomorrow maybe.
