A moment for the Knit Tee 🤍

The ladies of the Wānaka A&P Show know their style, and when we launched the Knit Tee there last year it was a sell out.

It’s easy to see why. Beautifully weighted for year-round wear, just as good on its own as it is layered when the seasons turn.

Knitted here in New Zealand from ZQ-certified merino and h**p, grown at Glenaan Station and spun into something we’re genuinely proud of.

She’s a beauty.

There is something magical about the throwing of a fleece.

But there’s a practical reason behind it too.

Once the fleece comes off the sheep, it’s thrown across the wool table so it opens up and lays flat. This allows the wool handler to see the whole fleece, skirt away the edges, and assess its quality before it’s classed.

Don’t just trust something advertised as “wool”. Check the clothing label. It tells you exactly what it’s made from. You might be surprised to find that many “wool” jumpers contain more plastic than wool.
