Trying something new! I’d like to offer a 5 week course for women who want to return to exercise but don’t know where to start, or for women who have had kids and want to get back into exercise safely. Each week we will exercise, learn safe movement patterns and understand what you should be aware with regards to your own body to minimise injury. At the end of the five weeks you will have the confidence to join a gym, and continue your fitness journey. I will provide you with information on local gyms.

Happy New Year everyone. Hope you have had a chance to doing something fun and have been able to relax!
I am slowly making my way back to normal, if there ever was such a thing. With my girls at preschool today and having time alone I thought I’d share a few things I have been working on! I am doing another course in Rangiora, on exercise and pregnancy coming the end of Feb. I have also been working on brand new 5 week course that is suitable to Mummas at any stage. The focus is on getting back into exercise, you come and work with me for five weeks, learn about what’s going on and gain confidence to then hook up with a local gym to continue your journey. More information on both of these to come! And I will get back into sharing some more content with you! Reach out if you have any questions!

Best exercise you can do Postpartum? (honestly!) and it’s my favourite thing to encourage, because we all just do it anyway 🤭.
Try this: night time feeds can be tough, but give yourself this goal. Each feed do 10 deep breaths. Make sure you’re in a good supported sitting position. Great way to help keep you awake, distracting from the tiredness and focusing on the breath into your back. The deep breaths don’t even need to be one after the other, try staggering them. This will help improve your recovery. Share this little tip with your Mummas.
