where did the week go? Adding to my daily activities, a couple hours weeding everyday. A few freaked out skinks found at the bottom of the wheel barrow. Evicted without notice. They were let loose in the lawn. Cherry tree has kicked off might be a gigantic pink cloud by next week! xx

The lime tree is evermore abundant and I’m lucky there are enough people around to appreciate the limes and my lime pickle. Don’t think I’ll go down the lime preserves route this harvest as the ones I made last year came out tasting like soap. Blegh! Half a cut lime in a cup of water in the microwave is great way to keep the oven zesty fresh! And I just love the egg yolk yellow here seen on a classic toasted vogels, marmite & tomato. Unusually windy and rainy spats here today. Not a great garden day.
