"I do" Alterations is a mobile service for bridal party fittings. We offer the convenience and comfort of staying in your own home while being fitted. We specialise in bridal alterations, including wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, flower girls dresses, Mother of the Bride and any formal wear.

With over 30 years of experience you can trust your dresses will be in safe hands and tailored to perfection. Our vision was to create a service that made wedding alterations easy, giving the brides one less thing to worry about: travelling to an alteration place and awkwardly arriving at a strangers house, or collecting all the bridesmaids together only to squeeze them all into the small, public spaces they have in the alteration shops in the malls. As we specialise in bridal alterations, we can guarantee that your dress will be in the hands of a professional tailor who purely focuses on altering bridal gowns. Unlike bridal stores where the salesperson fits your gown, then sends it off to a seamstress who has had no communication with you and the understanding of your needs can be lost along the way; resulting in mistakes that can be disastrous. We know organising a wedding can be stressful and the last thing you want to worry about is your dress being butchered by a tailor without experience. Our seamstress has been in the industry for over 30 years, designing, creating and altering wedding and formal dresses for many years. Sewing for brands such as Trelise Cooper, Love Story, Peppertree, Marnella Fashions, the Miss New Zealand pageants, as well as running her own boutique and designing her own fashions. At "I do" Alterations we ensure that your alterations run smoothly and perfectly, helping the process of organising a wedding go off without a hitch.
