Thank you SO much to everyone who pre-ordered. Every single order went into the draw.

This whole collab has been even better than I imagined.

I’ve been a massive Penny Farms fan for ages. I love what Kaille and GG are building, I’ve already got my ticket for the dahlia tuber sale 🌸, and every chat we’ve had has just been great. We’ve spent as much time talking about flowers and truffle orchards as we have towels 😂.

In fact... I’m now planning on growing my own dahlias for our wedding next year. Failing that - ill be lining up at PF the day before 😆

and I’m hanging onto the blue and brown one because my DMs and emails have been absolutely hammered with people asking for it. I’m doing everything I can to make that one happen for summer, so I need to keep it as my sample for now. 🤞

There’s been so much happening (penny farms collab, booking India for new toweliiiiiieeeeees 👀, finding truffle in our orchard *insane* and then many hours pruning said truffle orchard)… plus so many other behind the scenes things that I just never get around to yarning about 😆

But we’ve had a few more tickets sell for our topless swim lately and thought I should probs remind you…
So here’s me reminding you.

If you’re new here and wondering why on earth a towel company is hosting a topless swim...

It started because breast cancer has touched way too many people we love.

We wanted to create something that wasn’t just another fundraiser. We wanted a day where women could celebrate their bodies, scars, stories, survivorship, friendship... or simply show up and support someone they love.

A place where nobody judges. Nobody cares what your body looks like. We all just jump in together (literally into a lake.. then hot pools).

Since we started, this incredible community has raised over $50,000 for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, and that absolutely blows my mind.

This year’s event is going to be bloody special.

Come by yourself. Come with your mum. Your sister. Your mates.

I promise you’ll leave with a full heart and new friends too

Collaboration over competition. Always.

So... you guys know we’re doing the Penny Farms collab at the moment?

Well this whole story is the coolest example of why I love collaborating with good humans.

I’d followed Penny Farms for ages because I just bloody loved what they were doing. Their flowers are unreal, they’re so generous with their knowledge, they’re funny, they’re down to earth.

And I also knew Kaille was an epic artist.

So I thought... ah well, the worst they can say is no (to designing an epic custom towel)
Turns out they said yes.

We jumped on a call and GG was there too. We ended up talking about everything... flowers, lifestyle blocks, our truffle orchard, their truffle orchard... you know how those chats go.

Then Kaille goes, “Oh, we’ve been getting heaps of help from Annette and Matt at Ohiwa Truffles.”

I was like, “Oh cool!”

And then... completely forgot about it. 😂

Life was busy. There were 97 other things going on. Fast forward a month or so. I’m wandering around Fieldays and I see Ohiwa Truffles.
I have no filter so just asked are you Annette… Kaille told me about you 🤣
We had a yarn, swapped numbers, and they said they’d come and have a look at our orchard.
They did… and today we sent our first kg (ish) off to chefs, used in truffle oil, skincare... all the fancy truffle things.

We spent hours just wandering around chatting about life, business, orchards, mistakes, what they’ve learnt over the years... and they were just so generous with everything they know.

How bloody cool is that?

And none of it would’ve happened if Kaille hadn’t casually dropped their names into a conversation.

That’s why I love collaboration. We do it all the time at STOKEDNZ.
Because there’s enough room for all of us.

Anyway...

Gary and I apparently own a truffle orchard that’s actually producing. 😂

So I guess we’re truffle farmers now.

These designs are bloody beautiful.

If you’re new around here, we name all of our towels, Towelies and blankets after people who inspire us. So because this is a Kaille and GG collab, it only made sense to name these after the absolute legends at Penny Farms. ❤️

I’ve met the people weaving the cotton, sewing the towels and packing them. Everyone is paid fairly, right through the supply chain.
