Our hearts are so full as we announce that Olivia Rose Bridal Boutique has been named a Finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards NZ 2026 🤍

When I started this journey, I never imagined the incredible opportunities that would come our way — from helping hundreds of brides find their dream gown, to styled shoots, magazine features, and building a beautiful bridal community.

Behind every beautiful moment are countless late nights, hard work, and sacrifices… but every single one has been worth it.

Thank you to every bride who nominated us, supported us, shared our name, and trusted us with such an important moment in your life. We are beyond grateful. 🤍

After being honoured as Outstanding Wedding Gown Provider 2025, this finalist recognition means the world.

And now, in just two weeks, we’ll be heading to Auckland for the NZ Wedding Vendor Awards and then again in October for the Wedding Industry Awards New Zealand!!!— what an incredible chapter this is.

What an incredible weekend it was at the Copthorne Wairarapa Wedding Expo 🤍✨

Behind the scenes, there was a lot of planning, teamwork, learning curves, and a whole lot of passion that went into making our very first wedding dress provider expo experience happen.

A huge thank you to the Copthorne Weddings Wairarapa for this opportunity and for welcoming us to be part of such a beautiful event. It was such a special opportunity to offer personalised bridal appointments right there at the expo.

While we would have loved to help every single bride who came through our doors, there were many we simply didn’t have enough time for — but we can’t wait to welcome you into the boutique and help you find “the one” in a more relaxed setting 🤍

Seeing so many happy brides find their dream dresses made every early morning, late night, and behind-the-scenes moment worth it. 👰‍♀️✨

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Braiden to our team — and what a way to start! Her very first day with Olivia Rose Bridal was at the expo. Talk about jumping straight into the bridal world! We are so excited to have her as part of our team.

It was also so special spending quality time with Emma Ayling and Emma Jayne Bridal — working together, laughing, and creating beautiful memories while doing what we love.

And once again… the magic touch of Blank Canvas Events | Event Backdrops & Luxury Proposals completely transformed the space. From four years ago until now, time and time again they continue to make every setup more breathtaking than the last. They truly have a gift for taking a space and turning it into something unforgettable

We’re bringing a beautiful selection of gowns with us, giving brides the first chance to discover their dream dress at an incredible sample sale price.

From 1 August – 31 October, selected gowns will be available — but once these beauties find their bride, they won’t be coming back ✨

A little “day in the life” at the boutique. 🤍

9:30am – unlock the doors, reset the dresses and veils, make sure everything is looking beautiful, and get ready to welcome our first bride.

Before I knew it, the day had flown by…

Six bridal appointments.
Lots of laughs.
A few emotional moments.
One very quick break to rest my feet and grab a bite to eat.

I had every intention of filming each appointment, but the truth is, once my brides arrive, my phone gets put away. We’re too busy chatting, trying on beautiful gowns, and celebrating those special moments together.

So while I only managed to capture one photo (shared with permission from this gorgeous bride 🤍), there were so many memories made behind the scenes.

5:00pm – lock the door with a full heart, knowing I get to do it all again.

Some days are busy, some days are exhausting, but every day reminds me why I love what I do. 💍

I saw a post the other day from a bridal boutique in the US Timeless Bridal • Michigan Bridal Boutique her wording really stuck with me 🤍. She shared a line I absolutely loved:
