Design Fetish Each wreath is created to be special. Our arrangements speak volumes about the vibrancy and life of Yet, I couldn’t shake the thought, “I could change that”.

At some point, everyone has something that keeps them up at night. That was the case for me September 2016 during a picnic with my daughters. We were on our front lawn and I looked up only to notice how few doors had wreaths. That was odd considering it was fall and in this region, people decorate for Groundhog’s Day. Any occasion to display house-pride is a good one (but not a problem of mine). The irony was ….in short, my hands were beyond full. I was taking graduate courses, working full-time, going through a divorce and learning a new norm of single-parenting 3 girls under 3. Folded laundry, matching socks (or shoes for that matter) and a home cooked meal were luxuries. Finding a moment to catch my breath was like kissing a pink- glittered unicorn. Still, endless ideas of possibilities arose and lingered. It felt like something was choosing me. This idea seemed was outrageous, a couple times I just laughed. Something in me knew I had to go for it just to see what was on the other side. After 3 sleepless nights, I surrendered thinking, “What the heck? Worst case, I could get this _____ out of my system”. Looking back, I’m confounded by all that transpired after that decision.
