During the BIYAG (Benguet Indigenous Youth Arts Guild) Festival 2026, Paul Keneth Pingi Inocencio, a musician from Benguet, entrusted us with crafting his barong jacket under Hiblaโ€™t Lahi. The barong is accented with Benguet Inabel, woven by our local weavers.

He was a judge in Benguetโ€™s Rising Stars Acoustic Singing Competition, held at the Ben Palispis Hall, Benguet Provincial Capitol, on May 13, 2026. Fun fact: Heโ€™s also an accomplished performer. Back in 2024, he won the World Division at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Longbeach, California, earning two golds, one silver, semi finalist medal and 2 Division champion plaques. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

๐๐ˆ๐˜๐€๐† ๐„๐—๐‡๐ˆ๐๐ˆ๐“ 2026. In line with the Benguet Indigenous Youth Arts Guild (BIYAG) Festival 2026, nine young entrepreneurs are showcasing and selling their locally made products at the Lobby of the Provincial Capitol.

The exhibit features a range of creative and innovative goods that reflect the skills, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit of Benguetโ€™s youth while promoting young entrepreneurs, supporting local industries, and highlighting youth participation in development initiatives.

The exhibitors include Pink Plate Club (Benguet NHS),
SHOKUYOKU, Glenn-C Food Products, VIN Food Prods, Broke Chef, Sugar Puff, Bo-oy Food Prods, Hiblaโ€™t Lahi, and Benguet Brews.

The BIYAG Exhibit 2026 runs from May 11 to 14 and is open to the public.

Four meaningful days of celebrating culture, creativity, and community at the Benguet Indigenous Youth Arts Guild (BIYAG) Festival 2026 held at the Benguet Provincial Capitol.

We are deeply honored that Hiblaโ€™t Lahi was chosen as one of the exhibitors, and even more grateful to receive the Peopleโ€™s Choice Award. โœจ

Through our products, we continue connecting our roots to our heritage, supporting local weavers while embodying modern culture with the old. This experience allowed us not only to share our advocacy, but also to grow, learn, and connect with inspiring individuals, fellow creatives, and new friends along the way.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of BIYAG Festival 2026 for creating a space that empowers indigenous youth, local artistry, and culture. Congratulations as well to all the amazing exhibitors, awardees, performers, and winners of the different activities!
