Just a few weeks ago, his life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). This rare form of leukemia, often affecting adults, has now become a daunting challenge for my young warrior. He dreamt of becoming a scientist, an engineer and a CEO, always exploring, curious and aims to unravel the complexity of things. He's a breath of fresh air, our family prayer
leader. His favorite color is orange while his birthday is September which coincidentally the color and awareness month for Leukemia. By faith, we know that Alrheec will be a beacon of hope, showing other kids everywhere that dreams are endless no matter the circumstance. He is such a brave kid, our young warrior. But now, my son faces a battle beyond his years. CML has forced him into a world of hospital visits, painful tests, and uncertainty. His young heart will journey not only on physical pain but also by the fear of his dreams deferred. We, Philip's family and friends, have rallied around him, determined to help him regain his health and chase his dreams once more.
