WOMEN’S MONTH Special

How you see yourself has a great impact on how you move in the world, and this is something entrepreneur Joan Bautista understands too well through her own journey. Struggling with her insecurities as a little girl from a small hometown in Gapan in Nueva Ecija, she took it upon herself to learn to turn every negative thought she had about herself into something healing and nurturing.

Fast forward to her successful ventures in Australia, this Filipina visionary has resolved to make it her mission to also help every single girl to find ways to feel great about themselves, through the well-thought products under her wellness enterprise Glam Health & Beauty.

“It wasn’t until I started seeing how many people—successful, educated, kind people—still lacked confidence and self-love that I realized that beauty isn’t just external,” Joan says. “It’s emotional and mental.”

That realization began to reframe how she understood fulfillment in oneself.
