His works has been showcased in the Visayas major shows that include: the “ONE VISAYAS” (one people one destiny) held in Cebu International Convention Center in 2009, the Biennial: Visayan Island Visual Arts Exhibits and Conference (Viva Excon). Held his first One Man Show at “HANDUMANAN” Museo de Calbayog in 2005 dubbed as “CALBAYOG AND BEYOND”
His training at the Institute for Culture and Arts Management (ICAM) of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) in 2002 leads him to establish several artists organizations, to mention a few: as a co-founder he was elected Vice President of ISLA CARUJA ARTIST ASSOCIATION (regional level for Samar-Leyte Artists) he has also served in the committee on Visual Arts (NCVA) of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Ramon as a fulltime artist he is active in sharing his talent and skills in visual arts: that includes the out of school youth, deaf and mute, and jail inmates through workshops in cooperation with the Department of Education (DepEd), LGU Calbayog City and other NGO’s. Also in his own rights and initiatives he is an environmentalist: he founded and organized the Mount Pinamutwaan Highland Planters Association for Eco Tourism in Calbayog City, organized the Jasminez Upland Farmers Association (JUFA) Gandara , Samar, for responsible utilization of the natural resources using his formulated Community Resource Management Framework (CRMF) affirmed by the Provincial Environment Natural Resources Office, Catbalogan Samar. Currently he is a member of Leyte Samar Biliran Community Based Forest Management PO’s Federation (LEYSAMBIL) and member of the Civic Brotherhood Organization (CBO) Calbayog Chapter. Ramon believes that in helping and working together with the community is a positive approach in the realization for economic prosperity of the province and making Samar an industrialized region is possible.
