Everyone Is a Survivor
Each survivor has a unique face. He can be a bedridden patient with an incurable disease, a person with a disability hoping to be free from discrimination, or a business executive struggling with bankruptcy.
It may also be a face of a military man seeking inner peace amid the war, a teacher working with students in an underprivileged neighborhood, or a leader trying to save the country from the economic crisis.
Everyone fights for a cause that is important to them, no matter how big or small. Everybody is struggling to survive in their unique way.
Some thought they were strong enough to be trusted with more oversized loads, while others considered themselves fortunate to be only given lighter loads to carry.
But regardless of whether you have fully recovered from a challenging surgical procedure or just awoke from a nightmare, you’ve survived to live another day.
Life can be unpredictable, and sometimes our plans don’t work out how we want them to. We may feel like the world is against us, but it’s important to remember that we still control our destiny.
Bear in mind that no matter how hard life gets, you can make it through because you have the strength and courage to overcome any obstacle.

When life throws you a curveball, staying positive and looking at the bright side can be tricky. It’s because the traumatic events you endured may have harmed you.
Even though the wound has healed, it could leave a scar, a trail that might take you back to those terrifying moments from yesterday.
Our scars can be physical or emotional, but they prove we are survivors.
Physical scars are a reminder of our strength and endurance. Whether it’s a scar from surgery or an accident, it reminds us that we have been through something difficult and have come out stronger on the other side.
On the other hand, emotional scars remind us of our resilience and the lessons we’ve learned. They can be reminders of what we’ve overcome and how we’ve grown as people.
Let's try to eradicate the roots of the past from our hearts so they won't bear sour fruits that, when consumed, will turn us into negatively charged robots.
Instead, we should bury them at the back of our heads, far enough to still cause pain in the heart but close enough to let us remember the lessons they helped us learn.
A scar is an evidence that a person has suffered harm or injury. But more crucially, it signifies that the bearer is a survivor — not someone who has never experienced suffering or rejection, but rather someone who could muster the willpower to carry on despite life's flaws.
Real survivors aren’t those whose eyes clearly see the obstacles and successfully avoid them. Instead, they frequently fall because they have no sight yet maintain a clear vision of their dreams, remains undefeated by the trials, and always get up stronger than ever.
