One of the things I truly love & enjoy in doing this business is the opportunity to meet my sisters in deen. More than the orders, it's their faces & presence that make my heart happy. ๐Ÿ’–

Let us know about Sawdah bint Zam'ah (May Allah be pleased with her)... ๐ŸŒธ

She was the first woman the Messenger of Allaah ๏ทบ married after Khadijah. She was a noble, honorable woman with firm resolve.

Sawdah was previously married to as-Sakran bin 'Amr, the brother of Suhayl bin 'Amr. She gave her days to `A'ishah, showing concern for the heart of the Messenger of Allah ๏ทบ.

She narrated ahadith, some of which have been collected in Sahih al-Bukhari. Ibn `Abbas and Yahya al-Ansari narrated from her. `A'ishah ุฑุถูŠ ุงู„ู„ู‡ ุนู†ู‡ุง said: โ€œI never saw a woman and wanted to be in her skin (wanted to be her) other than Sawdah bint Zam'ah. She was a woman with firm resolve. When she became older, she gave her days with the Prophet ๏ทบ to 'A'ishah.โ€

Sawdah bint Zam'ah ุฑุถูŠ ุงู„ู„ู‡ ุนู†ู‡ุง was a charitable woman.

What will you lose if everything you do is sincerely for Him alone?

When your worship, modesty, and obedience are built upon your love for Allah, no person, hardship, or disappointment can take you away from your path.

We ask Allah to make us firm and steadfast in practicing our religion especially in a time and place where fitnah is widespread. The temptations are many and the doors to sin have become easier to access. Subhฤnallฤh.
