We're joining Dumaguete City's first-ever 6200 BookFest this weekend!!!🌊🌴

We're super excited to be back in Dumaguete City of Literature, for the second time this year! Catch our booth over at Filinvest Mall Dumaguete, and check out our books all about Philippine Wildlife, from our Naturalist's Guide to our acclaimed coffee-table books. We are also bringing along our merchandise, such as our recently released Haring Ibon Philippine Wildlife Playing Cards, our Good Design Award-winning Haring Ibon Playing Cards, our sticker sheets on Negros Island birds, and our iconic Philippine Flora Umbrella!🐦🌺

📢 On July 18 (Saturday), our very own Vinz Pascua will give a brief book talk showcasing our latest book, Lord of the Forest: The Fall and Rise of the Great Philippine Eagle, written by Alain Pascua. He'll also be showcasing a sneak peek of our upcoming books and projects that we are currently developing!🦅

Come and visit the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Booth to explore our bird-watching and bird-photography tours across the Subic Bay Rainforests with our bird guides! We're preparing brand-new birding itineraries across Subic Bay, so make sure to visit our booth to check out our new offerings and get a sneak peek at some of the birds you might see during your visit!

We're proud to share that the Haring Ibon Trading Cards: Birds of the Calamianes was among the SHORTLISTED finalists of the 2026 💙

The Calamianes Cards were among the 24 shortlisted entries in the Image-making category of the 2026 GDA Philippines. This category had the most submissions during the final deliberations, making it the most difficult category for the jury to select its winners.

We were incredibly lucky to have not just one but TWO entries reach the final deliberation stage of the country's most prestigious design award with the Calamianes Cards and the Haring Ibon Playing Cards!

Eventually, our Haring Ibon Playing Cards won the RED AWARD for the Image-making category!

Although the Calamianes Cards was not an awardee for , we're still proud of the entire Haring Ibon - Birds in Focus, Inc. and Regalo ng Kilit Foundation teams that made these cards possible, with how far this project has soared all across the Calamianes islands. This project was spearheaded by Maia Tañedo and Vinz Pascua, with stunning photographs by Chin Fernandez 🦜

Thank you so much to the DTI and the Design Center of the Philippines for this opportunity ❤️

The Birds of the Calamaines Cards are currently sold out at the Haring Ibon website, and are now only available in limited quantities over at Darayonan Lodge, Coron, Palawan.

The Haring Ibon Playing Cards, designed by Vinz Pascua, have received the RED AWARD for Image-making at the 2026 🇵🇭🏆🥇

This is the first design award for Haring Ibon - Birds in Focus, Inc., and our second national award for the year. Thank you so much to everyone who got our Haring Ibon Playing Cards! These cards have flown across the Philippines and around the world since we launched them in 2024, sold out in 2025, and have finally been restocked in 2026, alongside the debut of a new edition featuring Philippine Wildlife.

We are incredibly grateful to the 2026 Good Design Awards Philippines Jury, the DTI - Design Center of the Philippines, and the DTI for believing in the value of our brand and for truly recognizing our mission of making Philippine Wildlife a part of our Everyday Lives.

We've had a lot of fun showcasing our book, Endangered Bird Species of the Philippines, and its AR capabilities to a lot of y'all who visited.
